Who we are

Removal Services is a trading name of VitalCare At Home Ltd, registered in England & Wales (Company No. 15098204), registered office Office 4648, 221–323 High Road, Chadwell Heath, Romford RM6 6AX. We are the data controller for personal information collected through removal-services.co.uk. We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect, and why

Quote and booking information. When you request a quote — through our forms or over WhatsApp — we collect the details you give us: your name, contact number, collection and delivery addresses, and details of what you're moving. We use this to survey, quote, plan and carry out your move. Legal basis: performance of a contract (or steps you ask us to take before one).

Messages. Conversations over WhatsApp are held within WhatsApp (provided by Meta) and are subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy as well as ours. We keep move-related messages for as long as needed to deliver and support your move and to keep proper business records.

Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) for security and performance. Legal basis: legitimate interests in running a secure, reliable website.

Address lookups. Our quote form and moving tools can suggest addresses and check distances using open geocoding services (OpenStreetMap-based services and postcodes.io). The text you type into those fields is sent to those services to return suggestions; no name or contact details accompany it.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't send marketing you haven't asked for. We don't use third-party advertising trackers on this website.

Sharing

Your information is shared only where the move requires it (for example, with a crew carrying out your job), with service providers who host our systems, or where the law requires disclosure. All providers act under appropriate safeguards.

Retention

Quote and move records are kept for as long as necessary to provide the service, resolve any issues and meet legal and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any right, contact us via the details on our Contact page or write to the registered office above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

We'll post any changes to this policy on this page, with the date above updated. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
