How our quotes work.
No rate cards, no "from" prices designed to lure — a removal is priced by what it actually involves. Here's exactly what goes into your number and how to keep it down.
The five factors
What your quote is made of.
Volume — how much is moving
The single biggest factor. A video walk-through nails it in minutes and stops you paying for van space you don't fill.
Access at both ends
Floors, lifts, carry distance, where a van can legally stop. Priced upfront — never 'discovered' on the day.
Distance and route
Local hop or 300 motorway miles — mileage, time and (in London) ULEZ or Congestion charges are all in the written number.
Crew and timing
The right crew size for the volume, and the day you choose — midweek dates are consistently the best value.
Extras you choose
Packing service, dismantling, storage, piano-grade items. Each one itemised, so you decide what's worth it.
Why no price list?
Because two "2-bed moves" can differ by double. A fixed quote priced to your actual move beats a headline rate with an asterisk.

From message to moving day.
Tell us about your move
Message us on WhatsApp with your pickup, destination and what's moving. Photos or a quick video help us get it exactly right.
Get your written quote
We confirm crew size, van space and timings, then send a fixed written quote. Ask us anything — you book only when you're happy.
We pack and protect
On the day (or the day before, for bigger homes) we wrap furniture, protect floors and doorways, and load in a planned order.
Unload, place, done
At the other end every box goes to its labelled room, furniture is placed where you want it, and we don't leave until you've checked everything off.

- Goods-in-transit and public liability cover
- Room-by-room unloading at the destination
How to pay less
- Move midweek — Fridays and month-ends book first and cost most
- Declutter before the survey, not after the quote
- Pack yourself where you're confident (leave fragiles to us)
- Be flexible by a day or two and ask about part-load routes
- Book once dates firm up — short-notice is possible, but choice is cheaper
