European Removals
France, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and beyond — removals across the Channel with the customs paperwork handled properly.
The service
How our european removals service works.
Since Brexit, a European move is two jobs: the removal itself, and the customs process wrapped around it. Plenty of firms still quote the first and improvise the second. We plan both from the start — because a perfectly packed van stuck at Calais without a Transfer of Residence reference is nobody's idea of a good move.
Our European removals cover the mainland's popular routes — France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and their neighbours — with door-to-door service, wrapped and inventoried loading, and the customs documentation prepared with you before the van moves: ToR1 applications for UK-bound moves, export declarations, and the detailed valued inventory EU customs expect.
Timelines are honest: a European move is measured in days, not hours, and quotes spell out the schedule leg by leg. Dedicated van for speed, or part-load for value — both run to written plans.

Common questions
European Removals, asked and answered.
Which countries do you cover?
The Western European mainland is our core: France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Austria and Switzerland. Further afield — ask; we'll answer honestly about routes and timelines.
What is ToR and do I need it?
Transfer of Residence relief lets you import household goods into the UK without duty when moving home. Moving INTO the UK you'll want ToR1 approval before the van travels — we guide you through applying. Moving out, the destination country's rules apply and we prepare the paperwork they expect.
How long does a European move take?
Nearby routes (northern France, Belgium, the Netherlands) run in 2–3 days door to door. Spain, Italy or further are typically 3–7 depending on dedicated vs part-load. Your quote includes the honest schedule.
Can you move us back to the UK from Europe?
Yes — returns are half our European work. Same service in reverse, with UK import paperwork (including ToR) handled with you.
Are my belongings insured across borders?
Yes — goods-in-transit cover applies across the full international route, and the valued inventory doubles as your insurance schedule.
Dedicated van or part-load — which should I pick?
Fixed dates or a whole home: dedicated. Flexible dates and a smaller load: part-load can cut the cost substantially. We'll recommend honestly when we see your list.
Local knowledge, national standard
European removals anywhere in the UK, without the gamble.
Searching for european removals anywhere in the UK brings up a wall of promises, and no way to tell who'll actually turn up. Here's how we remove the gamble: every job across the UK is surveyed before it's priced, priced in writing before it's booked, and handled by one crew from first box to last.
Because we run UK european removals regularly, our crews arrive already knowing the practical stuff — where a van can legally wait, which buildings need lift bookings, how long the carry really takes. That knowledge is what keeps a fixed quote fixed.
Message us on WhatsApp with what's moving and we'll answer with a real plan and a real number — usually the same day.

We pack and protect
On the day (or the day before, for bigger homes) we wrap furniture, protect floors and doorways, and load in a planned order.
Unload, place, done
At the other end every box goes to its labelled room, furniture is placed where you want it, and we don't leave until you've checked everything off.
Packing & protection standards
What "careful" means when we say it.
- Furniture wrapped, always. Transit blankets and stretch-wrap on every sofa, table and wardrobe — before it leaves the room.
- Mattresses and bedding bagged. Sealed protective covers keep beds clean from door to door.
- Fragiles double-boxed. Glassware, ceramics and artwork packed in double-walled boxes with paper wrap — never loose.
- Floors and frames protected. Runners on carpets, padding on door frames and banisters at both properties.
- Loaded like it matters. Heavy at the base, strapped in tiers, nothing resting on anything it shouldn't. Loading is a skill and we treat it as one.

No two moves alike
What we move across the UK.
Full homes and offices, of course — but also the jobs between: a piano down a narrow stair, a wardrobe that defeated the last crew, boxes to a storage unit, a sofa bought across town. If it needs moving across the UK, it's our kind of work.
Whole properties
Houses, flats and offices — surveyed, crewed and moved on a fixed written quote.
Heavy singles
Pianos, safes, American fridges and garden machinery, moved with the right kit.
Small loads
Part-loads, student rooms and marketplace pickups — priced for what they are.
The people doing the lifting
Crews you'd let into your home. Because you are.
A removal is personal — strangers carrying your life down the stairs. Our movers are trained, insured and turn up in uniform with the van equipped: blankets, straps, trolleys, floor runners. The crew lead walks the job with you before anything moves and checks it off with you after the last box lands.
And because the same crew stays with your move end to end, the person who wrapped your glassware is the person unwrapping it.

Access & parking
Parking and access across the UK, handled in advance.
Every quote includes a parking and access plan: where the vehicle stops, how far the carry is, whether a smaller shuttle van makes sense for a tight lane or a private road. We ask about it at survey because it's the single most common thing other quotes ignore — and the most common source of "extras" on someone else's invoice.
Narrow terrace, rural track or high-street flat above a shop across the UK — the plan is made before the day, not improvised on it.
Short notice?
Same-day and next-day crews.
We hold capacity for urgent work. If your dates just collapsed — a completion pulled forward, a tenancy deadline, keys that have to go back — message us now and you'll get an honest answer in minutes: an arrival window and a fixed price, or the earliest real alternative.

Pack an essentials box — kettle, chargers, medication, kids' favourites — and defrost the freezer.
Moving morning
Strip beds, keep documents and keys on you (not in the van), and walk the crew round the home.
